Yet again a cold blustery wind swirled about the field, throwing relentless rain into everything. Letcombe with a decent side but still no decent conditions to play their football.
Both teams are in need of the points, Bourne to keep ahead of Letcombe and the visitors need points to jump Bourne. So all to play for.
The visitors kicked off and straight away they got at each others throats. The blustery wind and the rain slicked surface spoilt any pretty football so we went back to basics. Plough through the mud, batter opponents into submission, and try to run the ball into the goal keeper and all.

The referee was keeping a tight lid on proceedings for the second half as the ground got more skanky, but a hand ball earnt a second yellow and off went a Bourne defender.
