A lovely sunny warm day, chilling down towards a frosty night, just the job for a soccer match. Two equally committed teams with nothing between them to battle it out in this first leg of a two headed semi final.
All to play for and it showed on the field. 120% commitment from both teams. It soon became obvious that defences were clearing the lines with a big hoof up the park and the forwards could battle to obtain posession. Several times the benches were imploring the lads to keep the ball but they weren't interested in playing that way.
Nobody wanted to risk losing the ball as the predators were sharp and would quickly rifle in a snap shot. All out attacking football by the long ball route. Very exciting to watch. Several free kicks and corner kicks kept all warm and thinking.
Small things indicated that these lads from the Reserve Section are not used to having neutral linos.
