Pewsey Vale v Tytherington Rocks

Guess what, another Saturday with a bitter easterly wind and sputtering rain. Back to the long trousers.
Pewsey with a revamped team taking on the Rocks who started the season strongly but have wobbled lately. Mostly pride to play for.
The teams proved to be evenly matched, but the game was played in a sporting manner with no cautions. The odd free kick was conceded now and then but nothing nasty.
Stalemate in the first period with no goals to show.
The second half started the same and Vale seemed to lift their game forcing Rocks onto the backfoot and popped in the first goal after 15 mins. They then topok their foot off the pedal and managed to hang on to this slender margin until the final whistle.
